NEW YORK — Foxy Brown and Lil' Kim are getting a bum rap from a New York publisher.

Simon & Schuster Inc. filed lawsuits against the rappers on Thursday, alleging they were both paid book advances, yet failed to deliver on their end, the Associated Press reports.
