HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The New Year may be fast approaching, but Leighton Meester isn't sweating a list of resolutions.
"I don't make them, because I don't keep them," the 23-year-old Gossip Girl star tells E! News. "Maybe when I was 8, I said I'd make my bed every day."
It's been a busy 2009 for Meester, who launched her music career to go along with her hit CW series.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — When it comes to love, Leighton Meester has experienced her fair share of horrible relationships.
"Honestly, I've hated every boyfriend I've had," the 23-year-old actress tells British Glamour for its December issue.
While Leester likely wasn't speaking about her current beau, Gossip Girl co-star Sebastian Stan, she can certainly admit to being cautious when it comes to dating.
"I always resist falling in love," she admits. "My problem is, I lose interest. Every time I've fallen in love, it's just momentary."

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Leighton Meester has debuted the music video for her new song "Somebody to Love," a sexy production featuring the single's co-writer, Robin Thicke.
"It's basically going through ... a sexy day in my life. We start off in the car, we come in, I keep on fantasizing and dreaming that I'm with somebody I can love," the 23-year-old Gossip Girl star told MTV News on the video's set at the Mercer Hotel in New York. "He kind of comes and goes. He disappears. It's mostly about the clothes and the looks, so that's exciting for me. I've had a lot of fun with that."

LOS ANGELES — Leighton Meester loves the fact that she's part of a hit show, but the "Gossip Girl" star would prefer to stay out of the tabloid limelight.
"I don't want most of what comes along with all of this," the 23-year-old actress confesses in the September issue of Harper's Bazaar.
One such tabloid rumor that Meester is still fuming about is the one about her so-called sex tape that surfaced in June. It was said that Meester shot the video with an ex-boyfriend when she was 18.
"[The tape] is not real," Meester insists, "so it makes me sort of sad. It's unfortunate that it got carried as far as it did."

The 23-year-old "Gossip Girl" star has signed a record deal with Universal Republic, with plans to release her debut album in the fall, according to Billboard.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Leighton Meester and Sebastian Stan may be hot and heavy, but the two stars are not engaged.
Rumors about the couple heading for the altar began swirling after The New York Post reported they had announced plans to marry on their "secret" Facebook pages. However, Stan's rep quickly dismissed the report.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — As a rising young star, Leighton Meester says she's learning how to handle the good and the bad that comes along with being a celebrity.
"I've learned to let things roll off my back," the 21-year-old actress reveals in the spring issue of Teen magazine. "If people say negative things, I could care less."
"But I let it give me a boost of confidence if they're saying nice things," she adds.
