HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — If only Jon and Kate could have been so speedy.

LeAnn Rimes and Dean Sheremet reached a confidential divorce settlement on Dec. 17 — the same day the singer's husband filed divorce papers, Los Angeles court records show.

"The [settlement] shall not be filed in this proceeding due to the parties mutual desire to maintain their respective rights to privacy," the document states.

The settlement presumably divides their cash, property and other valuables, with their divorce expected to be finalized on June 19, 2010.

Sheremet, 29, cited irreconcilable differences in his divorce filing, which came months after Rimes, 27, was accused of having an affair with actor Eddie Cibrian.

The couple tied the knot in 2002 after meeting a year earlier when Rimes hosted the Academy of Country Music Awards, in which Sheremet appeared as a dancer.

Cibrian was also married at the time the affair rumors first surfaced in March. He and his wife, model Brandi Glanville, are currently in the midst of their own divorce.
