HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Katherine Heigl is setting the record straight after her hot tub night with hubby Josh Kelley led to the police being called.
On Monday, the couple exchanged words with an irate neighbor who complained about the noise they were making. The former Grey's Anatomy star had slipped into her "most ridiculous bikini" for a night of fun with Kelley, who had just returned home from touring.
"We were totally just hanging out and making out in the hot tub – and by the way, it was so PG," the 31-year-old actress told Ryan Seacrest on his KISS-FM radio show Thursday.
So what went wrong with the neighbor?
"This guy is always screaming at us," Heigl explained. "He starts screaming at us to go inside, and I'm like, 'I've had it. I've had enough of this. This is ridiculous. It's harassment, and I'm calling the police.' "
Heigl and Kelley were later photographed in their swimsuits chatting with police.
"I just think the thing that is the most hilarious is that video footage of Josh and I in our bathing suits talking to the cops," she laughed. "We are like the most boring couple in Hollywood and that's the most scandalous thing we've ever done."
