HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Kate Gosselin is seeing the negative effects on her children as her ongoing divorce battle with estranged husband Jon continues to get drawn out in the media.

"I'm trying to give them the grace to see, if they're acting out of line, I'm trying to look deeper into why that is," the reality star tells Vanity Fair. "Why the kids are acting out. Cause it's all inter-related. I mean, they don't see it, but it's all interconnected."

Kate says the divorce has brought about the obvious feelings from her eight children, who are now wondering where their father is.

"They miss him. They say they miss him. I imagine they say the same thing when I'm away," she explains.

What impact the couple's divorce has on the kids remains to be seen, but former Us Weekly editor Janice Min says don't be surprised if this story never ends.

"Sadly, I think the only thing we can be sure of now," says Min, "is 10, 15 years down the road, the E! True Hollywood Story: The Gosselin Kids."
