According to the celebrity gossip site, 16-year-old Michael Truncali died when his car crashed in the early Thanksgiving hours after a night of drinking at Snooki's New Jersey home. He had a blood alcohol level of .18, which is more than twice the legal limit.

Snooki, who was 16 at the time, was later charged with Prohibited Sale of Alcoholic Beverages after it was determined that she had charged partygoers for alcohol.

"She doesn't care about what happened to our son," the victim's mother, Michelle Truncali, said of Snooki before softening her tone. "We're not out to trash Nicole. I never blamed her for what happened, she was a 16-year-old (sic).  I blame others. I am not looking for those people to get arrested, I just want the truth."

Helen Polizzi, the reality star's mother, was home at the time of the party, but never charged. She refused comment when reached by Radar, but police said she was fully cooperative during their investigation.

"She came in willingly and spoke to us several times about the incident," Marlboro Police Chief Stephen Fajfer said.

The victim's parents told Radar they are disappointed that Jersey Shore appears to "glorify" alcohol consumption and hope others can learn a lesson from their son's death.

"I just don't feel that parents should allow underage drinking in their homes," said the victim's father, Bill Truncali. "If this brings some exposure to the problem and if it stops this from happening to someone else, that is a good thing."

Kyle is right. BE RESPONSIBLE

Kyle is right. BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR FU&%$^#@ KIDS OR DONT HAVE THEM!

Yeah kyle you're an a**hole

Yeah kyle you're an a**hole for saying that, the kid probaly lied to his mom about what he was doing!!!! I can't believe you say that its 100% the parents fault!

I agree with you all the way

I agree with you all the way upstateny! Her mom was home, she should have been charged as well. I cant believe her mom got away with it. I mean as a parent all you can do is teach them right from wrong and help them the best you can. I feel for the parents who lost a son. Very sad!

Kyle you are an idiot. Or

Kyle you are an idiot. Or maybe you are young and don't have kids yet and just know any better. I have two teen boys, I will do my best to teach them about making good decisions and having good values. Yet there are temptations all around, I know I was a teen once. If they end up in an environment where responsible adult behavior is expected and they instead get, no comment, like that from "Snooki's" stupid mother who are willing to look the other way and let the kids do as they please and allow access to alcohol then bad stuff can happen. You love your kids, really believe you are doing your best to teach them and protect them and then they end up in a home where the mother allows her daughter to be called "Snooki" (what the f---), ( watched about 10 mins of NJ shore once, and only once, what a piece of garbage) and let her boobs hang out all over and bad things can happen when temptation takes place and other parents don't give a sh---.

You dont think other parents

You dont think other parents should allow underage drinking in their homes?? Where were you as parents for YOUR son. Everyone always looking to blame someone else. Your the kids parents know where your kid is at night... Its 100% your fault.
