HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jennifer Lopez is poking fun at a recent report that suggested her diva-like demands cost her job on American Idol.
On Thursday, the 41-year-old star went on Twitter and posted a photo of a jewelry box overflowing with pricey items. On the caption, she mused: "Hmmm... what should I wear today?"
Lopez was likely responding to Tuesday's report by People that said she was no longer in the running to join Idol as a judge.
"Her demands got out of hand," an insider told the mag. "Fox had just had enough."
Lopez was linked to the job immediately after Ellen DeGeneres bowed out two weeks ago. At the time, the hit series was already dealing with the loss of Simon Cowell, who is leaving the program to focus on bringing his U.K. hit The X Factor to the U.S. next year.
There was widespread speculation that Kara DioGuardi would be fired and the show would return to a three-judge format with Lopez and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler coming on board to join holdover Randy Jackson.
