"We're so excited to announce we are expecting a girl!" Brook, who is due in the fall, tells People magazine. "We are thinking and taking suggestions for names, but we have no idea [what to call her] right now."

The former Dawson's Creek star has revealed that he and his girlfriend, Kimberly Brook, are expecting their first baby.

"Yes, it's true - the woman I love and I are expecting our first child... currently experiencing joy on levels I never knew existed," Van Der Beek wrote Friday on his Twitter page.

Van Der Beek has agreed to pay McComb $7,750 per month until December 2012, according to court papers filed Monday in Los Angeles.

The settlement terms also include Van Der Beek getting their North Hollywood home and all the residuals generated from his career during their six-year marriage.

Van Der Beek cited irreconcilable differences when filing for the split, according to TMZ.

The couple has been separated since June.

Van Der Beek and McComb, both 32, tied the knot in Malibu, Calif. over Fourth of July weekend in 2003.

They do not have any children.
