LONDON – George Michael isn't invited to the royal wedding, but he has recorded a song for Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The musician is making the track available to download for free, but hopes fans will make a donation to the Royal Wedding Charity Fund.
He has been teasing fans on Twitter about his choice of song, which he plans to reveal Friday on Piers Morgan's CNN show.

LONDON – George Michael says he deserved to spend a month in jail last year for crashing his Range Rover while under the influence of drugs.
The former Wham! singer says it was karma - that after repeatedly breaking the law, he felt that he "a bill to pay." That made accepting his punishment easier, Michael said, according to excerpts from an interview released by BBC radio Sunday.

LONDON — George Michael has his "freedom" back.
The 47-year-old singer was released from jail Monday after serving almost four weeks of an eight-week sentence for driving under the influence of drugs, the Associated Press reports.
"I just want to start again," the singer told reporters after being set free.

LONDON — George Michael has been sentenced to eight weeks in jail after crashing his car into a London building while under the influence of drugs.
The 47-year-old singer was also fined $1,930 and lost his license for five years, a British judge ruled Tuesday at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court in London, the Associated Press reports.

LONDON — George Michael could be headed to jail after crashing his car into a London building last month while under the influence of drugs.
On Tuesday, the 47-year-old singer appeared in London's Highbury Corner Magistrates Court, where he pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs and possession of cannabis, according to the Associated Press.

LONDON — George Michael has hit another sour note.
The 47-year-old singer was arrested Sunday night after he crashed his car into a building in Hampstead, an upscale residential area in north London, Reuters reports.
Police say Michael was taken into custody because he was "unfit to drive." He was released on bail and ordered to return to court in August.
