HOLLYWOOD, Calif. —Gary Busey and his girlfriend Steffanie Sampson have welcomed their baby boy.

Son Luke Sampson Busey, the couple's first child together, was born at 6:40 a.m. Tuesday. He weighed in at 6 pounds, 7 ounces, according to Entertainment Tonight.

"This feels like a dream," the couple told ET in a statement. "We feel so blessed and are overwhelmed with happiness at Luke's arrival."

Busey and Sampson, who have been dating since 2008, announced the pregnancy in December.

This is the third child for the 65-year-old actor, who has a son, actor Jake Busey, and a daughter, Alectra, from previous relationships.

The Point Break star next hits the big screen in the upcoming comedy Grown Ups.
