HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Kim Fey, the wife of New Kids on the Block member Donnie Wahlberg, has filed for divorce.

Fey cites irreconcilable differences in court documents filed Aug. 13 in Los Angeles. She is seeking sole custody of the couple's two sons — Xavier, 15 and Elijah, 7 — in addition to spousal support.

Wahlberg and Fey, both 39, married on Aug. 20, 1999. They have been separated since January.

In May, Wahlberg and his bandmates reunited for the first time in 15 years.

The Boston native will also appear alongside Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino in the upcoming film "Righteous Kill."
