Andrea Gross, the mother of Adam Goldstein, amended her son's $20 million lawsuit against several defendants, including Clay Lacy Aviation and Learjet Inc., on Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court, according to published reports.

"The crash ultimately caused Adam Goldstein's death at a later date," the court papers read.

A trial is set for March 2.

DJ AM and Blink-182 musician Travis Barker were the lone survivors in the South Carolina plane crash that killed four people. Many have speculated that the accident led him relapsing after years of struggling with substance abuse problems.

DJ AM died from a lethal cocktail of prescription drugs and cocaine in his New York City apartment on Aug. 28.
