LOS ANGELES – David Schwimmer is now the father of a baby girl.
A spokeswoman for the 44-year-old actor and director says Schwimmer and his wife, Zoe Buckman, recently welcomed their first daughter.
Publicist Ina Treciokas says baby Cleo Buckman Schwimmer was born May 8.
Schwimmer was a star of TV's "Friends." He also lent his voice to the "Madagascar" animated movies.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — David Schwimmer is going to be a dad!
The actor's wife, photographer Zoe Buckman, is pregnant with the couple's first baby, Entertainment Weekly reports.
Schwimmer's rep told the mag the twosome are excited to start their family. "They couldn't be more thrilled," she said.

The former Friends star and his longtime girlfriend, photographer Zoe Buckman, have been secretly married for fourth months, his rep tells Entertainment Weekly.
Schwimmer, 43, and Buckman, 25, tied the knot in a small private wedding ceremony in early June. It is the first marriage for both.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — David Schwimmer is getting married!
The former Friends star is now engaged to his girlfriend of three years, photographer Zoe Buckman, his rep confirmed Sunday to Entertainment Weekly.
Schwimmer, 43, and Buckman, 24, reportedly met while the former sitcom star was in London directing the 2007 film Run Fatboy Run.
This will be the first marriage for both Schwimmer and Buckman.
