HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — It's officially over for Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen

Less than two months after reports surfaced the longtime couple was taking a break, Bilson's rep has confirmed their split is permanent.

"Yes, the engagement is off, therefore, so is the wedding," her rep told Us Weekly.

Bilson, 28, and Christensen, 29, started dating in 2007 while shooting the film Jumper. They got engaged the following year over the holidays.

Back in June when the breakup chatter began, Bilson showed up ringless when she attended THQ's "Take No Prisoners" party at The Standard Hotel in Los Angeles. Her father, Danny, is an executive with the interactive entertainment software company.
