"My hat goes off to him," the 20-year-old singer said of the PGA star's admitted infidelity during an interview Wednesday with Mojo in the Morning. "I support him. I hope he gets back on the field and does his thing because he is the best at it."

I love women. But I would say I've just been chillin' I haven't really been trying to get into a relationship or trying to date anybody."

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — With his comeback underway, Chris Brown is sitting down with MTV for an interview to discuss his February arrest for assaulting his former girlfriend, fellow R&B star Rihanna.

"My thoughts [when I look back on it now] is like, 'Why did it happen?' " Brown tells MTV News correspondent Sway during the network special, "Chris Brown: The Interview," airing Friday. "Like, 'What was I thinking? What is wrong with you?' That's what I'm thinking with myself. That's what my thoughts are, basically, now."

When asked what sparked the assault, which took place on the eve of the Grammy Awards, Brown says, "Just anger … Yeah, anger … Young people, we do before we think."

Chris BrownHOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Fans anxious to hear Chris Brown's new album Graffiti won't have to wait as long.

The 20-year-old singer has pushed the album's release date up by a week, with his third studio release now dropping on Dec. 8, according to a statement on his official Web site.

"I Can Transform Ya," the first single off the album, currently sits at No. 16 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop songs chart. The video for the song, which is Brown's first since pleading guilty to assaulting his former girlfriend Rihanna, debuted last month.

The video, which is Brown's first since pleading guilty to assaulting his former girlfriend Rihanna, was directed by Joseph Kahn, whose past work has included the likes of "Toxic" and "Womanizer" by Britney Spears.

"Everybody see it's you/ Well, I never want to lose that view. Everybody says we're through/ I hope you haven't said it too," Brown sings on the track, which features Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz.

Chris Brown Announces 'Fan Appreciation Tour'

LOS ANGELES — Chris Brown has announced plans for a month-long concert run.

The R&B star's "Fan Appreciation Tour" will play small venues in 19 U.S. cities, beginning Nov. 14 at the House of Blues in Houston, Texas.

It will be Brown's first concert run since his February arrest for assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna. The singer was sentenced to five years of probation and community service for the attack in August.

Brown's record company, Jive Records, said the tour is intended to thank his loyal fans for their support.

On Tuesday, organizers for Michael Jackson's upcoming global tribute in Vienna released the first set of performers, with Brown's name prominently listed alongside the likes of Mary J. Blige and Akon. But a rep for the "Kiss Kiss" singer tells E! News that Brown hasn't signed on the dotted line.

"Chris is not confirmed to perform or participate in any capacity for this show," said the singer's publicist.

"I'm in shock, because, first of all, that's not who I am as a person, and that's not who I promise I want to be," the 20-year-old singer tells Larry King in an interview scheduled to air on CNN Wednesday night.

"I just don't know what to think. I'm just like, wow," Brown adds. "It's crazy to me."
