HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Chris Brown is in no rush to jump back into the dating scene.

"My whole dating thing, I've been kinda chillin'," the 20-year-old singer tells MTV News. "I mean, I'm Chris Brown. I'm not saying it like that, but it's just, like, girls are gonna be around. I love women. But I would say I've just been chillin' I haven't really been trying to get into a relationship or trying to date anybody."

The R&B star, whose new album drops next month, said his primary focus is himself after pleading guilty to assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna earlier this year.

Said Brown: "I've just kinda been working on me ... just really getting me straight."
