ARLINGTON, Va. — U.S. soccer star Charlie Davies was injured in a car accident early Tuesday that killed one, the Associated Press reports.

Davies was traveling with two people when the single-car accident happened around 3:15 a.m. along the George Washington Memorial Parkway in Virginia. Ashley J. Roberta, 22, of Phoenix, Md. was killed in the collision, while Davies and the other traveler were both transported to Washington Hospital Center Medstar for treatment.
