HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Tom Cruise generated a lot of hype for his turn in the 2008 film "Valkyrie," but that apparently did little to impress Brad Pitt.
In an interview with German magazine Stern to promote his new film, Quentin Tarantino's "Inglorious Basterds," Pitt slams Cruise's own attempt at a Hitler assassination film.
"It was a ridiculous movie," said Pitt, whose version of World War II opens Friday in theaters.
