BORA BORA, French Polynesia - Eddie Murphy is starting the New Year as a married man again.
The Oscar-nominated actor wed his girlfriend, Tracey Edmonds, in a private ceremony on an island off Bora Bora.
Murphy and Edmonds, who is a producer, made their union official with an intimate New Year's Day ceremony in front of just 25 guests made up of family and close friends.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Fox News made quite the splash on Friday, reporting that Nick Lachey and girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo were planning to tie the knot this weekend. Problem is, the report was not accurate.
Lachey's rep put an end to the speculation, telling E!, "Not true. Fox is making it up. Nick is in Cincinnati working on the choir show for NBC and a show he is producing for MTV. Fox.com should stick to news."

The 15-year-old teen star admitted she is dating Jonas, also 15, who is currently touring with her. She says they have been dating since the start of their "Best of Both Worlds" tour.

LOS ANGELES — Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt is now engaged.
The star of the CBS drama "Ghost Whisperer" got engaged to her boyfriend, Scottish actor Ross McCall last week, Us Weekly confirmed Wednesday.
"They got engaged last week," Hewitt's publicist Sarah Fuller told the mag.
The couple is vacationing in Hawaii.
McCall gave Hewitt an antique engagement ring that has been in his family for over 100 years, the magazine said.
