NEW YORK — Lauren Conrad has done it again.
The former Hills star has topped the New York Times best-seller list with Sweet Little Lies, the second installment of her wildly successful book series for publisher HarperCollins.
"It's so gratifying for my second book to be so successful and it was so fun to write! The characters were already developed so I really enjoyed the process so much more this time around," the 24-year-old Conrad told People about the latest installent, which hit shelves earlier this month. "All the characters have become like my friends now."

LOS ANGELES — Lauren Conrad will soon bring her fashion expertise to the publishing world.
The 23-year-old star will share some of her fashion tips in a new book titled Lauren Conrad Style, scheduled to be released by publisher HarperCollins in the fall of 2010, People reports.
The style guide will offer readers insight into incorporating Conrad's looks into their own lives. It will also include never-before-seen photos of the former Hills star, the magazine said.

The model and reality TV star is hard at work writing a new memoir that will be published by Simon Spotlight Entertainment. The book will explore Wilkinson's childhood years in San Diego and her rise to fame at Playboy, including her time working on the hit E! series "Girl's Next Door." It will also include insight into her new reality show, "Kendra," and her life as a newlywed with husband Hank Baskett.

The 23-year-old reality TV star's new book, L.A. Candy, has made the New York Times Best Seller list for the second week in a row.
"If someone said to me five years ago when this all started that I would one day make the New York Times Best Seller list I wouldn't have believed it," the former "Hills" star told People of the accomplishment. "I am so honored that it is now a reality."

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Miley Cyrus admits to being bothered by some people thinking she's too close to her father, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus.
In her upcoming memoir, "Miles to Go," the young star speaks out about those who diss the pair's tight relationship.
"The media has said some stuff about my dad and me being too close and too cuddly for a father and a daughter,” the 16-year-old Cyrus shares in the memoir, according to an advanced copy obtained by The Associated Press. "For me and my dad it's not weird at all."
