HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — ABC is rolling out the red carpet for Adam Lambert again.
The network has booked the former American Idol star for an appearance on The View next Thursday. The episode will air the morning after Barbara Walters's primetime special on the year's Most Fascinating People, which includes Lambert.
The visit to the chat-fest comes after ABC pulled the plug on a Lambert Good Morning America performance and his scheduled New Year's Eve appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The cancellations came in the wake of his controversial "For Your Entertainment" number at the American Music Awards, which led to ABC receiving about 1,500 complaints from viewers.
Last week, the 27-year-old singer said he didn't blame the network for the fallout from his racy AMA performance.
"Yes, sadly friends, ABC has canceled my appearances on Kimmel and NYE," he wrote Wednesday on his Twitter account. ":( don't blame them. It's the FCC heat."

Only 1500 complaints from 48million viewers. As for FCC, Adam's performance was in the safe harbor time of 10:00pm -6:ooam in CA and NY -FCC safe harbor since his performance was at 10:53, but , unfortunately it aied at 9:53 central time. in some states, hence the problem. Luckily, there is intelligent life in the universe, since ABC is going forward with the two programs Adam ahs schedules next week. And By the way---Adam's CD is magnificant.Let's talk about his music from nenceforth.

Anyone of those women who think kissing another guy is racy is too old and too slow to be on the show. Anyone of those females who can't handle oral sex or thinks Adam was "showing" agression must not be very good in the sack. I mean come on it was "simulating" oral sex he wasn't really doing it. Two rewatch the AMAs or recheck the photo ding bats the dancer's head is in Adam's stomach not between his legs! That is a whole lot LESS than what Pink did or Ricen Reggie and the Skate Music Awards live. Both of them went way farther than Adam did. They just couldn't handle what Adam was about to do. Which is Hasslebeck thinks that was aggressive sex she doesn't like rough sex or sex with Passion. Why is she on the View? For Your Entertainment was a knock out song and Adam did great. He was all over that stage and he moved the dancers and only had a few vocal problems. SO DID ALL THE OTHER PERFORMERS THAT NIGHT, except for Kelly Clarkson. She was great. I wish she would have moved a little though.

Thank god ABC has finally come to their senses! I hope Adam knocks their socks off with his gorgeous smile and tremendous personality! They won't know what hit them....
I can't wait to see that idiot Elizabeth stutter and stammer when he bats his eyes at her......He's so incredibly bright...he'll be able to answer any of their questions calmly and intelligently, and with grace and his usual wonderful sense of humor!

Yes, I think we owe a thank you to Barbara Walters. And I think Adam will charm the pants off all the ladies, just like he has us under his magic spell. I am one of many who have had a difficult time getting words out when I have met Adam. I got two sentences out last time. I am hoping for another shot to actually say something meaningful besides "thank you so much!"

Boy, I hope Elisabeth can keep her pants on. I've seen Adam IN PERSON and seen him perform LIVE in concert, and he is absolutely mesmerizing. He has some pheromone level that cannot be resisted and I have to say, he's amazingly gorgeous (and his voice is INCREDIBLE) LIVE and IN PERSON. What an amazing guy. Really. He has this aura about him that I've never experienced before. Watch out ladies of the View -- You are in for a real treat!!!
