Jazmin Whitley, designer of the Li Cari fashion label, has a tremendous style that is a breath of much-needed fresh air. With influence from her studies in Italy and Brazil, Jazmin began her career in fashion while still a high school student.
Today, Jazmin brings a passion and persistence to the world of couture fashion that is underscored by each of her garments, favoring such indulgent materials as silk, lace, and fur. Jazmin is meticulous about the quality of her garments. She prides herself in the intricate detail and regards herself as an artist who pushes the boundaries of conventional fashion precepts. She is inspired by classic beauty, with modern wearable comfort.
Jazmin is the youngest designer to show at New York Fashion Week and Los Angeles Fashion Week, and she recently became the youngest to show at London Fashion Week on Feb. 11, 2008.
