On-screen, Gwendoline Christie slays — quite literally — as Game of Thrones‘s Brienne of Tarth, one of the baddest women in Westeros. But in real life, she’s giving the word an entirely different meaning as the new face of Vivienne Westwood’s fall 2015 campaign.

For the campaign ads, which were lensed by photographer Juergen Teller, the 6’3″ actress poses in a series of haunting portraits — modeling a mix of punky plaids and dramatic cat eyeliner and proving her stare is just as piercing as sword. “I love the unisex theme of this collection,” Christie told Grazia. “It is so relevant for Vivienne Westwood to reassert their activist mindset and create a collection that takes us beyond our current gender stereotypes with beauty and intelligence.”
