Anna Kendrick wasn’t going to let a little fire get in the way of her talk show appearance.
The Pitch Perfect actress, 32, had to evacuate her New York City hotel on Monday after a fire broke out in the building. Kendrick was on her way to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon at the time, and had to walk to the talk show on foot as firefighters were blocking off the streets.
She shared the entire ordeal on Instagram, first showing video of the firefighters in the hotel with the caption, “Uh. The hotel is super on fire.” She later thanked the responders on her way to Fallon, filming herself along the walk.
It’s unclear which hotel the actress was staying at, but soon after she posted on Instagram there were reports of a fire on the third floor of the Whitby Hotel in Midtown Manhattan. No injuries have been reported.
Kendrick will appear on The Tonight Show on Monday night to promote the third installment of her Pitch Perfect series. Also returning for the film, dubbed the “Farewell Tour,” are original cast members Elizabeth Banks, Ester Dean, Chrissie Fit and Hana Mae Lee.

John Lithgow, Matt Lanter and DJ Khaled also make appearances in the film directed by Trish Sie.
Last week, PEOPLE debuted an exclusive featurette from the upcoming film, in which Kendrick and her fellow Barden Bellas lead their a capella group in a challenge against their USO tour competitors.
The Bellas have three tough rivals to face, including all-girl rock band Evermoist led by Ruby Rose‘s rocker alter-ego Calamity, hip hop artist Young Sparrow and country band Saddle Up, played by the members of real-life blue grass band, Whiskey Shivers.
Pitch Perfect 3 hits theaters on Dec. 22.
