Brace yourselves, people. There will be a Speidi spawn.
After overly sharing a photo of an ovulation test on Instagram, Heidi Montag confirms that she is ready to have a child with her husband of six years, Spencer Pratt.
Montag, who started dating Pratt when the two were starring in MTV’s The Hills together, tells Life & Style that they have reached a mutual agreement to expand their family after years of back-and-forth. According to the former reality star, their plan is to have a kid by some time next year.
“Spencer promised me a baby by 29,” Montag says.
“Last year, while we filmed an E! special, he told me, ‘I don’t want to have kids,’ and I started crying,” she continues. “I told him I couldn’t bear the thought of never becoming a mom. So when he saw how important it was to me, he had a change of heart!”
Montag, 28, and Pratt, 31, got married in 2009 after two years of dating. If their plans do come into fruition, the couple should be expecting their first child together next September.
