Let’s face it, Bryan Cranston can read a restaurant menu or the rulebook of chess and we’d still watch without blinking.
The actor’s newest project is no different: a nearly 6-minute long commercial for the upcoming Major League Baseball postseason.
The spot, which stars Cranston in a “one-man” show on Broadway in all sorts of team colors, is for TBS’ playoffs coverage.
It’s no Walter White, but the dramatic reading of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” really does make me think about Walter (in his softer, less crazy moments). Maybe it’s the silence in that theater, or the rusty sound of his voice. Whatever it is, let’s hope Bryan Cranston appears in more spots this postseason.
