Tired of hearing about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s cover of Vogue?
Well, you’re going to have to add one more story to your list because the saga does not end here – in fact – the plot has thickened as Vogue is now being sued for the infamous April photo shoot.
A forgotten boy-band singer from the 1970′s who sued West last year on the claims that he had used one of his songs for a track on the Yeezus album-, is now gunning after Fashion Bible Vogue Magazine for using that same song in their behind-the-scenes video from the photo shoot.
The exclusive video, beautifully compiled with up close and personal shots of Kim and Kanye with baby North while on set with photographer Annie Leibowtiz, is currently featured on Vogue’s website where Spicer inevitably came across it.
Ricky Spicer sang the lead vocals as a 12-year-old for his one hit wonder band “The Ponderosa Twins Plus One” that had an R&B song called “Bound” in 1971. He reportedly was “shocked” when he heard his own voice while listening to Kanye’s song “Bound 2″ on the radio some time last year.
A representative from Vogue has yet to respond to the news of Spicer’s lawsuit against them.
All we want to know is if Anna Wintour is shaking her head with regret upon deciding to let Kimye grace her cover.
I suppose we are Bound 2 find out soon enough…
