Victoria Justice: I Was Hacked Amid Celebrity Nude Leaks Scandal

By Celebrity News Wire on September 2, 2014

Victoria Justice, who initially denied the authenticity of her alleged nudes that were leaked online, is now claiming that her privacy was indeed violated when a 4chan poster shared her intimate photos without consent.

The former Nickelodeon star took to Twitter over the weekend to deny that the hacked pictures — which included a few topless snapshots — were of her, but has since changed her statement to say that some of the photos posted during the massive leak may have been legitimate. She writes in a new statement on Tuesday:

“Shortly after I tweeted about certain pics of me being fake, I was faced with a serious violation of privacy. There have always been fake photos of me on the internet, but I will not be put in the position to defend myself as to what is real or what is fake. I am angry at this massive invasion of privacy, and like the other women who are in this situation alongside of me, I am taking legal action to protect my rights.”

So far, Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kirsten Dunst, Becca Tobin and Olympian McKayla Maroney have confirmed — either through their reps or on Twitter — that hackers have stolen NSFW photos from their personal smartphones and hard drives via Apple’s iCloud.

According to one 4chan poster, those who have been selling the stolen photos for bitcoins have hacked into more than 100 female celebrities’ accounts. Stars who are said to have been affected by the hack include Kaley Cuoco, Lea Michele, Krysten Ritter, and Teresa Palmer.
