AMC has set the fifth season premiere date for The Walking Dead.
Robert Kirkman's zombie drama will return for it is fifth season on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 9/8c, it was announced at Comic-Con on Friday.
The fifth season will pick up with the group still at Terminus, though the producers still would not confirm that the Termites are the ruthless cannibals of the comics. But it won't be long before we find out! "We're going to see the story of Terminus," Kirkman told the crowd. "We're going to see how it happened."

However, the new trailer for Season 5 seemed to hint towards them being cannibals, with our group of heroes being lined up for the slaughter before Bob (Lawrence Gilliard Jr.) convinces Gareth (Andrew J. West) that they need to go to Washington, D.C. so Eugene (Josh McDermitt) can provide the right people with the cure. On the plus side, Beth (Emily Kinney) was not on that BBQ! Sadly, she seems to be in a juvenile correction center with a very violent corrections officer.
