Maybe-dates are the worst.
Just ask Amy Poehler, who on Monday’s Howard Stern Show told a cute little story of a dinner she once had with John Stamos (!).
You see Poehler and Stamos worked (briefly — he had a small role) together on the film They Came Together. The cast hung out.
“And then later on he’s like, ‘Let’s go get dinner,’ and it was fine . . . I was separated,” Poehler told Howard Stern.
“I remember thinking like oh sh*t, like if this is really a date. I think I was wearing a Leslie Knope shirt. I think I was wearing a shirt from work,” the Parks and Recreation star added.
Poehler, 43, and Will Arnett called it quits in 2012 after nine years of marriage. The mother-of-two is now dating comedian and actor Nick Kroll.
“I’ve usually dated people that have been friends. I’m dating someone now,” she told Stern on Monday. “I have a boyfriend now who I’ve known for a very long time.”
Listen to the full interview, below. Don’t miss Poehler’s parts about the joys of living alone, co-parenting with Arnett and why Louis C.K. is her “relationship sponsor.”
