Taylor Lautner on Reconciling With Exes: ‘I Absolutely Think It’s Possible’

By Celebrity News Wire on November 8, 2012

Taylor Lautner is ready to make nice with his exes — including country crooner Taylor Swift.

The Twlight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2 hunk revealed in an interview with Cosmopolitan that he has no ill will towards any of his former girlfriends, and he’s all up for a reconciliation if the spark is still there.

“I absolutely think it’s possible,” Lautner, 20, said. “It depends how long you were with that person. If it was a long, serious relationship, I think it’s quite easy to rekindle. I guess it depends on what damage has been done.”

Lautner and Swift, 22, dated in 2009 after meeting on the set of Valentine’s Day. Though the romance was short-lived, Lautner confessed that he’s still close with his former flame to this very day — and all ex-girlfriends, for that matter.

“There’s no ex out there who I’m not friends with today, and I’m extremely thankful for that,” he said.

The Twilight hunk is probably also grateful for not having a negative song written about him. Notorious for singing about her exes, Swift famously penned “Back to December” as an apology to Lautner.

“You gave me roses and I left them there to die / So this is me swallowing my pride, standing in front of you saying I’m sorry for that night / And I go back to December all the time / You gave me all your love and all I gave you was goodbye,” she crooned on the ballad — with full lyrics available on DirectLyrics.

Lautner, who was also seen out with former high school sweetheart Sara Hicks in January, added that he’s fortunate enough to have never been cheated on.

He told the magazine, “To be honest, I’ve never been involved in any of those situations, so I don’t know [if trust can be regained]. It would be just a guess and a shot in the dark, and I don’t want to give that if I haven’t even been there myself.”

Now that Swift is also single, do you want to the this former couple give their romance one more try? Sound off below.
