Kim Kardashian isn’t the only one who’s wanting to drop some serious weight. According to new reports, her little brother, famed sock designer Rob Kardashian, is doing his best to trim down as well.
“He hates being big, but he gained all that weight from being depressed,” a source tells E! News. “He wants to lose over 50 lbs.”
Rob, who has been rumored to be dealing with a Sizzurp addiction while feuding with members of his family, is reportedly working with sister Khloe Kardashian to get his life back on track.
“He’s also planning to attend more events and look into new business ventures,” the source says of Rob. “He’s taking it slow [and] feeling great.”
“Rob and Khloé have always been tight. And Khloé has been there 100 percent for Rob since he’s been going through hard times,” the source adds. “Also, Rob and [Lamar Odom] were really close, and after Khloé and Lamar split, it was so hard for Rob. He felt like he lost a brother that he had always wanted. Khloé knows how depressed he’s been and is probably closer with him than any of her sisters.”
Though he missed the Kardashians’ family trip to Thailand and skipped Kim’s wedding with Kanye West, Rob has publicly reached out to his siblings as an attempt to quell feuding rumors. In early August, Rob tweeted a message to his older sister Kim gushing about North West.

Previously, his mother, Kris Jenner, broke down on their reality show expressing her worries over her son’s depression.
“I want to fix Rob and sometimes you just can’t,” she said at the time. “I have not not cried myself to sleep in so long that I don’t even know what that’s like.”
