HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Owen Wilson is a changed man since welcoming a baby boy last month with girlfriend Jade Duell.

"I was never like somebody who was like, 'Oh gosh, it's a little baby! Let me hold it,' " the first-time father tells Access Hollywood.

"They're so fragile, but then when it is your own, all of a sudden you feel a lot more confident," he continues. "You really do have this bond, this real connection with this thing that a month ago wasn't even here... It is strange."

Wilson and Duell, who have been dating for more than a year, welcomed their son, Robert, on Jan. 14 in Hawaii.

"I haven't dropped him yet," jokes the Little Fockers star, who says baby Robert's cries sound like "beautiful music."

So does his newborn son look like mommy or daddy?

"I don't know if you can say," Wilson says. "Babies look a lot more like other babies than they ever do like their parents. That's what I've begun to notice!"
