So, Nicki Minaj fans are absolutely insane…
On Thursday, the “Pills N Potions” singer received some criticism after she unveiled her provocative cover art for “Anaconda,” which shows her full, bare booty in a thong.
Minaj responded to the criticism by pointing out the double standard in this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover, which displays the bare bums of Chrissy Teigen, Lily Aldridge and Nina Agdal.
Nicki captioned the photo, “Angelic. Acceptable. Lol,” making a fair point about hypocritical media coverage.
Teigen retweeted her message and jokingly wrote, “I WILL TAKE ACCEPTABLE,” taking Minaj’s post as a compliment to what she describes as her “flat” rump.
But many of Nicki’s fans did not (at ALL) see it that way, interpreting the retweet as shade and going absolutely nuts on the SI model with some purely idiotic messages.
Chrissy was shocked by the response and couldn’t help but laugh at the madness–And we don’t blame her.
Check out some of the absurd tweets yourself:
landed, saw she posted our cover, called our asses acceptable. Which I took as a compliment as I know I have no ass. Now pure entertainment.
