Miley Cyrus fans in the Dominican Republic will have to wait . . . to see her again.
The government commission in charge of public performances has banned Miley’s Sept. 13 concert in Santo Domingo because the singer often “undertakes acts that go against morals and customs, which are punishable by Dominican law,” according to a statement obtained by The Associated Press.
Miley’s fans are familiar with these acts of course (see here, here and here for some fine examples).
The show was originally part of the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s international Bangerz Tour, which kicked off in February.
This is the second show to be cancelled during the tour. In April, Miley suffered an allergic reaction, which caused the 21-year-old to scratch a show in Connecticut from the U.S. leg of the tour.
