She’s just being… Missi?
Miley Cyrus will guest-star on CBS’ Two and a Half Men, the network announced on Monday. This is the 18-year-old’s first TV gig since she hosted Saturday Night Live in March 2011 and her first scripted TV role since Hannah Montana ended last year.
Who will Cyrus play?
Cyrus will appear in a two-episode arc as a character named Missi, a family friend of Walden’s (Ashton Kutcher) who comes to visit. She then meets Jake (Angus T. Jones), who is on leave from the Army, and the two of them develop a relationship while he’s home.
E! Online’s sources confirmed that the character would be “sexy” and “rife with comedy.”
Cyrus recently appeared in the film LOL and finished shooting on So Undercover with Entourage star Jeremy Piven and Revenge heartthrob Joshua Bowman.
The starlet made headlines when she became engaged to her Hunger Games beau Liam Hemsworth in June. The teen star then caused a media frenzy when she chopped off her long locks and debuted a platinum blond pixie cut in August.
Two and a Half Men returns Thursday, Sept. 27 at 8:30 PM.
