While James Franco — the last celebrity have his own roast on Comedy Central — had comedy titans likes Jonah Hill, Sarah Silverman, Aziz Ansari and Andy Samberg appear on his special, Justin Bieber will have more of an, um, eclectic group of celebrity guests.
Martha Stewart and Shaquille O’Neal are just some of the famous names that have been confirmed to skewer the 21-year-old later this month. Joining the domestic diva and Kazaam star NBA legend will be Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Natasha Leggero, Chris D’Elia, Jeff Ross and Hannibal Buress. Comedian Kevin Hart will act as the master of ceremony.
Previously, Bieber had asked both Ellen DeGeneres and Seth Rogen to roast him. Though the former personally declined the invite on her talk show because she did not want to be mean, the latter, who once called Bieber a “piece of shit,” simply ignored the singer’s multiple tweets begging The Interview star to make a cameo.
A statement from Rogen’s rep later said that the actor will not be in town during the scheduled taping.
Bieber’s roast will be filmed March 15 and is set to air on Comedy Central on March 30.
