With two reality shows and two California restaurants under her belt, you’d think Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Lisa Vanderpump would have enough on her plate. Apparently, that’s not the case.
The Bravo star opened the doors to PUMP, her third restaurant in the Los Angeles area, Tuesday night and dished to Celebuzz about the hardships of building her new eatery and if — like SUR with Vanderpump Rules — she’ll be getting yet another spin-off series based on her new business venture.
“It has been such a struggle to open this place,” she told us. “I was supposed to be opened six months ago! It has been a nightmare but, you know, finally we’re here and I have worked my ass off.”
She continued, “It has been a lot of work and I’m glad we’ve finally pulled it together.”
The dining hotspot, which sits in the heart of West Hollywood’s gay village, features crystal chandeliers, wrought iron lamps, plethora of plush pillow seating and a swanky patio laden with imported olive trees. According to the reality star, its location — which she had to legally fight for — is very close to her heart.
“I’m the hugest gay advocate,” she said about why she chose to have PUMP next to the city’s most popular gay clubs. “It’s about equal rights for everybody. That’s what I stand for.”
As for getting another spin-off series based around her restaurant, two is more than enough for Vanderpump.
She said, “I don’t even have the energy to [star] in a home video, let alone another reality show!”
