A day after she was reportedly partying up a scene in Paris, Lindsay Lohan has completed all 240 hours of required community service, and just in the nick of time.
Lilo is due in court Wednesday (Jan. 28, 2015) where she will luckily be presenting her letter of completion. However, she was originally scheduled to complete her hours by Nov. 6, 2014. It was previously believed she’d finished only less than half of her hours, despite the two-month court ordered extension granted to her.
TMZ reports that sources close to he star say, “Community Service Volunteers will certify Lindsay has completed her 240 hours to satisfy her probation requirement in her reckless driving case”.
The reckless driving incident in question occurred in 2012, when Lilo drove her Porsche into an 18-wheeler on the Pacific Coast Highway.
The 28-year-old most likely has been racing against the clock since late last week in order to finish her hours in time. However yesterday, People reported that Lilo was hitting up clubs in Paris early Sunday (Jan. 25, 2015) morning! A source said,
“[She] came in with two friends around 3 in the morning and stayed until around 5, 5:30. She danced and amused herself a lot.”
Lindsay reportedly was going to cite her chikungunya virus (which she contracted while on vocation in Bora Bora over the holidays) as the reason for being behind on her hours (102 out of 240), as well as the fact that the community center she was volunteering at was closed for two weeks over the holidays.
But thankfully for Lindsay, she’s finished just in time and will receive a letter of completion from her London community service center (which will be presented to the judge by her lawyer, Shawn Holley, Wednesday morning, since she won’t be in court herself).
Funnily enough, Lindsay just released her new Super Bowl teaser ad for Esurance, in which she pokes fun at one of her many DUI/drunk driving scandals!
Watch the teaser below, and cringe (especially in light of her prolonged legal issues)…”time to crash the big game”!:
