There’s nothing better than a topical costume, right?
Lily Allen apparently thought so when she stepped out to Kate Hudson’s star-studded Halloween party dressed as someone named Dr. Luke. Though the “Hard Out Here” songstress didn’t necessarily looked like the mega-producer of the same name who’s worked with the likes of Katy Perry and Britney Spears, she did drop some hints that her seemingly-generic costume was a jab at the Kesha‘s alleged abuser.
How so? Allen’s name tag also refers to this “doctor” as a gynecologist, which perhaps was her way of taking a dig at Luke and the allegations against him claiming that he ”sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally abused” Kesha for over a decade.
Recently, Luke – born Lukasz Gottwald — hit back with another lawsuit, claiming that Kesha’s mother, Pebe Sebert, has attempted to extort him and orchestrated a smear campaign of liesto get her daughter out of his contract.
According to reports, Kesha has also spoken about her alleged abuse to her doctors at her rehab center and documented the mistreatments in letters she sent to fans during her time in rehab. However, a recently unsealed 2011 deposition has the “Tik Tok” hitmaker saying while under oath that Dr. Luke have never sexually assaulted her.
According to Kesha’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, Kesha didn’t feel comfortable taking legal actions against the super-producer until recently.
