Kelly Clarkson and her weight have been the subject of British journalist and television personality Katie Hopkins.
While watching The Graham Norton Show last month, she tweeted: “”Jesus, what happened to Kelly Clarkson? Did she eat all of her backing singers? Happily I have wide-screen. #grahamnorton.
She went on to post further fat shaming tweets:
Darling, if you had a baby a year ago, that is not baby weight. It is fat. Quit calling it cute names to make yourself feel better.

Baby weight, puppy fat, muffin top. We're so weakwilled we have to make up cute names for fat. Babies, puppies, muffins. Nope. Just fat love

Then again just yesterday, Hopkins posted one more tweet aimed at Clarkson:
Look chubsters, Kelly Clarkson had a baby a year ago. That is no longer baby weight. That is carrot cake weight. Get over yourselves.

Clarkson, who gave birth to her daughter River Rose eight months ago, When asked about Hopkins comments, Clarkson asked, “Who?”
When someone explained what Hopkins wrote, Kelly said: “Oh, and she’s tweeted something nasty about me? That’s because she doesn’t know me. I’m awesome! It doesn’t bother me. It’s a free world. Say what you will. I’ve just never cared what people think. It’s more if I’m happy and I’m confident and feeling good, that’s always been my thing. And more so now, since having a family – I don’t seek out any other acceptance.”
Way to rise above it all Kelly.
