HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Kat Von D is mourning the loss of her cat, who died in a house fire that destroyed the LA Ink star's Los Angeles home over the weekend.
"My house burned down last night with my cat inside," Kat Von D revealed early Monday on her Twitter page.
The tattoo artist later posted a photo of herself standing amongst the charred remains of her home, writing, "In order to gain everything, you must lose everything."
Kat Von D then shared a photo of her deceased cat along with the message, "R.I.P. My little Valentine."
Despite the tragedy, Kat Von D vowed to continue her ongoing book tour to promote The Tattoo Chronicles.
"No, I'm not canceling the rest of the book tour," she said, before adding, "Thank you all for comforting words.. Means so much."
