Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez aren’t the only ones making break up headlines this week.

After only a few months of dating, LA Ink star Kat Von D and DJ Deadmau5 have called it quits. The couple confirmed their split through a series of tweets on Saturday.

“Man.. Can’t say I didn’t give it my best,” Von D, 30, wrote, later adding, “Man, I sure was wrong. But at least he made it a no-brainer to break that off.”

And if that wasn’t enough, the tattoo artist had these words for her fans: “Clarification: Deadmau5 and I are no longer together.”

DJ Deadmau5, whose real name is Joel Zimmerman echoed his ex’s words a few hours later on Twitter, writing “it happened too fast, i lost my balance and fell into a familiar dark place that im having difficulty with. she deserves someone stronger.”

The 31-year-old Canadian DJ began dating Von D after meeting each other at a party earlier this fall, Us Weeklyreported at the time.

Von D’s previous relationships have included Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx and Sandra Bullock’s ex-husband Jesse James.
