In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past decade, Jared Leto is one of the most beautiful humans on the face of this earth. Anywhere between 55% – 75% of that reason is because of his hair.
Let us not forget that Leto stepped onto the scene and stole our teenage hearts as Jordan Catalano in My So-Called Life. His model looks, acting chops and rocker cred makes Leto a triple threat.
And what a gorgeous triple threat he is. Thus, in honor of his good looks and consecrated ombré locks (RIP), Leto is the face of this week’s Instant Follow Friday.
Save your tears for his long-gone rocker Jesus locks, however, because Leto is now a peroxide-blonde pixie and 100% sexy. This isn’t the first time he channeled Buffy the Vampire Slayer‘s Spike, and went fully bleach blonde.
Whether his hair is short and black, in a man bun, or so long and beautiful that every basic chick wishes their hair was as gorgeous as his, the Oscar-winning actor and 30 Seconds to Mars frontman is a certifiable fashionisto.
Leto won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in 2014 for his role as Rayon, a transgender woman with HIV in Dallas Buyers Club.
He’s also had roles in American Psycho (hello Paul Allen), Panic Room (hello cornrows), Chapter 27 (in which he gained nearly 70 pounds), and of course Fight Club, where we first saw Leto with the sexy peroxide blonde.
His next role, for which he’s gone blonde once again, will be as the Joker in Suicide Squad.
Leto is also lead singer of 30 Seconds to Mars, along with his brother Shannon. Together, the band participates in much activism work benefitting the environment (such as Natural Resources Defense Council and the Nature Conservatory) and relief work, such as in Haiti for the 2010 earthquake.
