Nicki Minaj released her twerk-tastic music video for “Anaconda” yesterday, and it’s already hit records, receiving 21.8 million views in just 36 hours.
You’ll be happy to know that 37 of those views belong to Sir Mix-A-Lot.
Minaj basically created her new song off of the 51-year-old rapper’s 1992 hit “Baby Got Back,” and it appears his attraction to big butts still takes precedence as he’s very pleased with her rendition of the song–especially how she made it twerk work in her new video.
While he was at a loss for words to describe his pride, he took to Twitter to respond in just one word:
Ok after watching @NICKIMINAJ Anaconda 37times I only have one word to sum up my feelings. DAMNNNNN!!!!!! #AnacondaVideoOnVevo

The female rapper was quite flattered by Mix-A-Lot’s response, sharing a screenshot of his Tweet on Instagram, saying: “LMFAOOOOO. Life is crazy. Thank u Sir MixALot. Still influencing us decades later. YouDaMan.”
Minaj will perform the racy song live during Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards. So if the Parent Television Council thought Miley Cyrus‘ performance was raunchy… I can only imagine the controversy that’s sure to break over this one!
