Looks like those rotating chairs are gonna keep on turning.
Gwen Stefani will replace Christina Aguilera on The Voice when the singing competition returns with new episodes in the fall.
TMZ is reporting that the No Doubt frontwoman and style icon has inked a deal with NBC, which will have her sitting alongside Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and fellow Voice virgin Pharrell Williams.
Aguilera is extending her break from the show because of her pregnancy, which would be towards its end when the competition series starts filming over the summer.
The report also claims that Stefani only signed a one-year deal and Aguilera will return to her seat for the show’s 9th season next year.
So far, no word from Aguilera, Stefani, or NBC.
