Drake may have started from the bottom, but the only way he’s moving is up!
The 28-year-old rapper just tied one of the most coveted records of all time. He currently holds 14 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart — a record that’s only been met by The Beatles in 1964.
The huge achievement follows the release of his surprise mixtape If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, which dropped in February to highly positive feedback.
Here’s the list of songs and where they sit on the chart (* indicates the song is off his new album):
- No. 16: “Only” with Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown
- No. 17: “Truffle Butter” with Minaj and Wayne
- No. 26: “Energy” *
- No. 49: “Tuesday” With ILoveMakonnen
- No. 52: “Legend” *
- No. 58: “10 Bands” *
- No. 68: “Blessings” with Big Sean
- No. 70: “Know Yourself” *
- No. 81: “No Tellin” *
- No. 82: “Preach” *
- No. 83: “6 God” *
- No. 84: “Used To” *
- No. 95: “Now & Forever” *
- No. 97: “6 Man” *
To put things in perspective, Drake’s list of top singles competes against The Beatles record with songs like “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” and “I Saw Her Standing There.”
Congrats to the rapper!
