Taking a page from Robin Thicke‘s “How to Look Pathetic While Trying to Woo Back Your Ex” book, Aaron Carter is — once again — publicly professing his love to Hilary Duff.
Like all totally normal people trying to win back their lost love, the singer went on Entertainment Tonight to reveal his plans on how he rekindle his romance with the former Lizzie McGuire star, who he once was linked to in the early 2000s before an alleged love triangle with Lindsay Lohan tore them apart.
“I don’t know who she is today, she doesn’t know who I am today but I would sweep her off her feet if I ever got a chance to again and fix what I did wrong,” he said. “I’m going to do everything in my power to fix those relationships in my life just like I want to fix the relationship I had with the love of my life.”
He added, “I’m not gonna give up on Hilary … ever.”
Duff, 26, separated with husband Mike Comrie this January after three years of marriage. The couple have a 22-month-old son together named Luca.
In March, Carter, 26, vowed to win back his ex-girlfriend in a series of tweets. After retweeting a “flawless” photo of Duff, 26, Nick Carter‘s brother wrote:
I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to better myself to get back to her. I don’t care what ANY of you think.

Though his former ladylove have yet to respond to the comments, Carter insisted that the actress got his desperate pleas messages.
“That wasn’t meant for the media or anybody like that … I didn’t think about it really. I wasn’t really looking for [a response] either,” he explained. “I’m sure she got the message.”
And I’m sure the fact that she has been spotted getting cozy again with her estranged husband again means that she’s totally single and ready to mingle. Totally.
