Taylor Lautner made his red carpet debut Monday night to a crowd of screaming fans for the premiere of the last installment of the mega-popular series Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.

Lautner has come a long way since Twilight hit theatres in 2008, when the now 20-year-old star bulked up for the second installment Twilight Saga: New Moon, making his female fan following swoon and catapulting him into bona-fide Hollywood hunk status.

The fearless leader of the wolf pack, Jacob Black, looked the part of a silver screen superstar in a steel gray suit and monochromatic tie — and he showed off his famous smile while signing autographs for lucky fans at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

Lautner‘s character in The Twilight Saga is known for going sans shirt throughout major portions of the films, but fans should know there is only one shirtless scene to ogle at in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, he told Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan when he visited Live with Kelly and Michael last Friday.

The star told the co-hosts that “as soon as the franchise ended, it changed, my workout regiment, my eating habits – that bulk I had on wasn’t really natural for my body. I had to work really hard to get up there and work really hard to stay there.” He then indicated that no longer eating 15 burger patties and eight meals a day made him lose some of what he had and he’s OK with that.
