Norman Reedus and Andrew Lincoln Chat with 'The Walking Dead' Fans Photos

Roughly 5000 fans of The Walking Dead enjoyed their Saturday afternoon (October 18, 2014) at the Walker Stalker convention in Atlanta, Georgia when they attended a talk with actors Norman Reedus and Andrew Lincoln.

The stars of the hit zombie show spoke to a packed house of fans, including a little girl from Boston to whom Norman Reedus sang “Happy Birthday.”

Norman admitted the grim special effects had turned him away from meat. He told online network Guilty Pleasures Radio: “I’ve become a vegetarian and I’m kind of bummed about it.”

According to the Daily Star, he’s not the only one. An off-camera source said that the majority of food served while filming is now meat-free, with many actors and crew members alike put off by the realistic special effects.

Reedus, who plays the crossbow-wielding Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead, will be receiving the Michael J. Hein Award For Personal Achievement In Acting from the New York City Horror Film Festival.

The award will be given to Norman Reedus during the New York City Horror Film Festival on Saturday, November 15th of this year.

Tune in to The Walking Dead tonight and AMC. The official synopsis for the episode reads: “With supplies running low and not knowing whether to trust the people around them, Rick leads a mission where the risk might not be worth the reward.”
